This second digital model takes usability and functionality even further by incorporating diverse fresh features, such as an accessory port for accessories like viewfinder and microphones, two additional Art Filters (Diorama and Cross Process), color-boosting i-Enhance function and AF tracking. Furthermore E-P2 offers HD movies in M-mode and remote slideshow control via HDMI. The P2 will be available in December for $1099.99.
November 5, 2009 - 07:45 GMTCanon releases a Service Notice for the EOS 7D DSLR. It has turned out that images captured by continuous shooting, under certain conditions may show barely noticeable traces of the immediately preceding frame. This problem is not noticeable in an image with optimal exposure, but becomes more noticeable if a retouching process such as level compensation is applied to emphasize the image. Update: Canon has today released firmware update version 1.1.0 to address this issue.

The 645DF delivers advances in core-camera technology, including an innovative new selectable dual shutter system with available flash sync speeds of up to 1/1600 of a second. Designed specifically for use with digital camera backs in the Mamiya 645AF mount, the 645DF is an open platform, compatible with digital backs from Leaf, Mamiya, Phase One, and Sinar. The retail price for the 645DF body is $5,990.
October 22, 2009 - 12:30 GMTMamiya introduces the new 22 Megapixel DM22 planned for November delivery. The DM22 features a 48x36mm sensor, 5356x4056 pixels, and an ISO range of 25-400, and has an estimated street price of $9,995. It's being introduced at the same time as the Mamiya DM28, an identical camera except for its sensor is 44x33mm, 6144x4622 pixels, and an ISO range of 50-800, which has an estimated street price of $14,990. Both cameras come with the Mamiya 80mm f/2.8 D Series focal plane shutter lens.
