Ricoh releases CX1, CX2 and CX3 firmware updates
|
Ricoh releases new firmware for the CX1, CX2 and CX3 cameras.
CX1 firmware version 1.25 fixes:
• Printing images with some PictBridge printer may fail
• The camera may not correct distortion in certain scenes.
CX2 firmware version 1.15 fixes these same problems
CX3 firmware version 1.11 fixes:
• Improved accuracy of flash adjustment in some cases
• Image(s) captured in auto bracket may be blurred.

In case you missed or did not apply the previous Ricoh firmware updates, you will get these improvements too:
Ricoh CX1
[Version 1.24]
• When you connect a camera to some PictBridge compatible printer, you may have trouble printing pictures.
• When using long time exposure, the orientation information (horizontal or vertical) of the image may not be recorded correctly.
[Version 1.19]
• When the battery is low, camera may power down without retracting the lens.
[Version 1.16]
• If you take pictures with the M-Cont. Plus, a MP file may be recorded with missing a partial frame(s).
• In the Focus-Bracketing, a self-timer feature may not work properly.
• Corrected a part of the information on a file in the MPO / JPEG format to comply with the Multi-Picture Format.
Ricoh CX2
[Version 1.14]
• The startup time may take longer than usual when turning on the camera in a My setting mode in some combinations of the My setting registrations.
[Version 1.13]
• With the step zoom ON, there may be rare occasions that the camera power will be off in zoom lever operation.
• In Manual focus, if you enlarge the center part of the image in the screen, the enlarged part may become black-out rarely.
Ricoh CX3
[Version 1.0.9]
• After rewinding a movie file in the camera once, there could be a case that the move playback is suspended.
[Version 1.0.8]
• HD movies (1280) from the CX3 may not be correctly played back in the camera due to the effect of readout speed of the movie.
[Version 1.0.6]
• With preview by date, after choosing one image listed in the page 2 or in the following pages, if you press the ADJ.OK button to show the selected image, another image will be displayed. |
