Kyocera's longer term plans for the digital photography market remain unclear. The company releases digital cameras under the Kyocera, Contax and Yashica brand names and has recently stated that production of digital cameras under the Contax brand names would cease by the end of the year. Kyocera still markets digital cameras in several countries, such as Australia, Italy and the Czech republic under the Yashica brand name and now announces a new 5 megapixel Yashica EZ-3050...
