Voigtlaender lenses launches 2 new fixed focus lenses of the Voigtlaender Classic Collection with Nikon and Pentax mounts. The Ultron 2.0 / 40 SL II has a flat "pancake" design and is an ideal travel companion with a length of 24.5mm and a weight of 200gr. Included is a close-up lens which adjusts the macro range from 1:7 to 1:4. With a 58mm focal length, the even brighter Nokton is ideally suited for APS-C-Format digital cameras. Both lenses carry a retail price of 349 Euros, the Ultron is available in December, the Nokton in January...

 The new fixed focus lenses of the Voigtlaender Classic Collection, the Nokton 1.4 / 58mm SL II and the Ultron 2.0, 40mm SL II, combine high image quality with traditionally high quality technology, for ambitious photographers and shutterbugs. Furthermore, a novel diaphragm technology offers an almost circular opening rather than the traditional polygon openings. The result obtained is a smoother path that contributes to the optimization of the image quality.

Also included is a close-up lens which adjusts the macro-adjustment range from 1:7 to 1:4. The optional lens hood surprises with its unusual design and improves the brilliance of the recordings.
With a focal length of 58 mm, the even higher brightness Nokton is suited for a digital "half format" camera (the so-called APS-C-Format) as Portrait lens under virtually all conditions.
Both lenses carry a retail price of 349 Euros. The Ultron 2,0 / 40 mm SL II is available in December 2007, the extremely powerful Nokton 1,4 / 58mm SL II will be available in January 2008.
