Voigtlaender announces the 7 Megapixel Vitoret 73

Voigtlaender announces the Vitoret 73 digital camera. The entry level Vitoret 73 features a 7 Megapixel CCD images sensor, a 3x optical zoom lens and a spacious 3-inch LTPS TFT LCD monitor. The new camera has 32 Megabyte internal memory - of which approximately 22 MB is available for image store, supports SD storage cards up to 2 Gigabyte and is powered by two AA size batteries. A simple movie mode (320x240) is available too. The Voigtlaender Vitoret 73 is available in Europe right now for a list price of 149 Euro...

The name of the "Vitoret" series was already introduced some twenty years ago for a mini camera with flashlight, the Voigtlaender Vitoret 110 EL, which happened to be my travel companion for many years.
