Vivitar Corporation announces the VIVICAM 8300s digital camera available 2nd Quarter, 2005.
The VIVICAM 8300s is a super slim, feature-packed, 8.3MP zoom digital camera with a maximum resolution of approximately 3250 x 2500,and is designed as a versatile, super high quality digital camera that will be easy to carryanywhere. With a selection of exposure modes and controls, the camera will lend itself to thecreative photographer as well as being perfect for recording everyday events. The oversize LCDdisplay can easily be used for critical evaluations during recording or playback.
The stylish VIVICAM 8300s is equipped with an 8.5 mega pixel, 24-bit color CCD imagesensor. Its 3.X optical power zoom lens ranges from 7.5 to 22.5mm, complemented by a macrofunction allowing images to be made at distances as close as 2 inches. Auto Exposure can assignshutter speeds from 1/2 to 1/1500 second using center weighted or spot metering. The cameraalso has a selectable 4X digital zoom feature which may be used during recording or playback..
In addition to outstanding still images, the VIVICAM 8300s also has movie clip capability withsound. These may be recorded at 640 x 480 or 320 x 240 at 24 fps until the memory card is full.A built in microphone and speaker allow voice memos to be added after images are recorded.
The VIVICAM 8300s is an ideal camera for all your digital imaging needs ranging from emailand web applications to images that are ready for display or print. Higher resolution ensures thatlarge print images will show greater detail.
A 64 MB Secure Digital memory card and photo editing software are included.Auto focus with both spot and multi-point metering, automatic white balance with 5 presets andmanual over ride, exposure control, built-in auto flash, and a 2, 10, or 10+2 second selectableself-timer make this a camera to express your creative spirit.
