Firmware update and Image Data Converter SR Ver. 1.1 update program

Sony releases firmware update version 1.1 for the A100 digital SLR. The update addresses the symptom that in very rare cases, RAW format files may not be opened by the Picture Motion Browser. Furthermore, it improves the image gradation when the shutter speed is 1 sec or longer, and printed picture quality when the image is printed by Epson printers under Image Matching. At the same time, Sony update the Image Data Converter to address the above mentioned RAW file problem, and provides indication of new lens information...

SUMMARY |
 Sony DSLR-A100 firmware update:
- Address the symptom that in very rare cases, RAW format files may not be opened by the supplied image control software, Picture Motion Browser.
- Improve image gradation when the shutter speed is 1 sec or longer.
- Improve printed picture quality when the image is printed by Epson(R) printer under PRINT Image Matching.
