The new Sipix SNAP,  mini, super light, super slim - digital camera and photography news

PRESS RELEASE

SiPix has done it again. The provider of some of the coolest and affordable cameras in the market has added another winner to its Stylecam range, with the introduction of the new SNAP – a super light, super small, super slim digital camera, costing just 60 Euros (£40).

Officially launching at Photokina on 24th September, the SNAP is a tiny three in one camera offering digital stills, video and web camera functionality. With the ability to store a massive 400 shots on its 8MB hard board memory, the SNAP is powered by just one AAA battery.

Available in metallic silver, this sleek camera will feel at home with the über cool fashion junkie and is destined to be the must have gift for many a Christmas stocking this year.

The titchy SNAP benefits from an automatic shut down after 30 seconds, conserving the battery life to help avoid the loss of images.

Perfect for taking pictures to email friends, the SNAP measures an incredibly small 10x 50 x 48 mm. The SNAP is so unbelievably compact, weighing in at just under 30 grams, that you may even forget you have it in your pocket!

In addition to looking great, its massive storage facility and its amazingly low price, the SNAP doubles as a web cam when connected to a PC via the USB interface, letting the user “talk” to friends virtually face-to-face.

The SNAP is able to capture over 160 seconds of consecutive snaps in “streaming snapshot” mode, which can be merged together into a video file using ArcSoft™, the extensive software package provided with the SNAP.
