Sanyo unveils the Xacti C40, a new digital movie camera that comes with 5.8x Optical Zoom and a 4.0 MP CCD, to ensure movies with fourfold sensitivity and low noise. The Xacti C40 comes with a 1/2.7-inch, 4.0-megapixel CCD. Employing 4-pixel mixture technology, it ensures movies with fourfold sensitivity and low noise. It also enables shooting of VGA-size video clips, as well as high-resolution 4.0-megapixel still images. The high-quality MPEG-4 recording format is used to record VGA-size video clips at 30 fps. Video images can be played back clearly, even on a large-screen TV. The Xacti C40's generous 1 GB SD card allows you to record approximately 60 minutes in TV-HQ mode.
