Praktica Germany announces the Luxmedia 4008, a new 4.2 megapixel and 8x zoom digital camera. The 4008 is also the first Praktica camera with the new name Luxmedia. The camera has good looks, a robust black body, features video with sound and on the back there is a 1.6 “ TFT-display. Even with the body of the camera, which reminds us of a mirror-reflex-camera, the new Praktica Luxmedia 4008 is different from the digital starter camera. The robust body protects the compact technology, which covers the requirements of ambitious photographer. It is also the first Praktica camera with the new name Luxmedia.
The Luxmedia 4008 convinced because of the price-performance-ratio, which is usual for Praktica. The light intensive lens with 8 x optical zoom delivers brilliant pictures in 4.2 mega pixel CCD quality. On the back there is a 1.6 “ colored TFT-display.
