Your Editor's good times and bad times…

Read more about the city of Alcala de HenaresYour editor has just returned from a short holiday in sunny Spain, escaping the rainy and stormy "Summer" here in the Netherlands.

We, that is me and my wife, were flying from close by Brussels airport, where flying to Spain is cheaper than parking your car for six days, and within two hours, right on schedule we arrived at the airport of Madrid for a stay with good friends in Algete, only a 30 minute drive away.

The Canon Digital Rebel was a good companion in this city with its many beautiful, colorful and interesting views.

Of course, Murphy's law got in full swing, after a quiet week of hardly any digital camera news, Canon, Sony and Panasonic conspired to spoil my day and night. So rather than slowly getting back into the pace of normal live, it took many hours of hard work to setup an alternative system to get all this news to you, a little late this time…
