PRODUCT INFORMATION

The ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.2 improvements:

1) Error Condition

The incompatibility occurs when using the program's zoom function to make a folder larger or smaller in the program's browser area. This will force the computer to shutdown, restart or lock up.

2) Bugs fixed with this patch.

ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.2 Patch will fix the folllowing:

1) When you use this software's zoom function to make the folder larger or smaller in ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.0/4.0.1's browser area, ZoomBrowser EX cannot be operated at all, forced to shut down or the computer restarts.
* This phenomenon will occur with ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.0/4.0.1, which is included in Canon EOS DIGITAL Solution Disk 4.0/4.1.

2) The CameraWindow cannot start PhotoStitch by clicking Stitch Assist images when ZoomBrowser EX is started from the Event Dialogue.

3) With Windows XP and ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.0, when the "+" mark in the left of [Documents and Settings]-[All Users]-[Shared documents] in the folder area is clicked, the folder will not be displayed properly.

4) The length of the scroll bar in the property window doesn't coincide with the number of items when two file types (JPEG and RAW) are selected to see their property at the same time.

5) Sort by file type doesn't work properly.

6) Thumbnail and property information in the property window doesn't coincide properly when more than two images are selected to see the property at the same time and the “View Image” button in the property window is clicked.

7) With Windows 2000/XP, a “Restricted User” (“Users”, with Windows 2000) cannot open the CameraWindow.

8) With Windows 2000/XP, the MyCamera dialogue will not open when a “Restricted User” (“Users”, with Windows 2000) starts ZoomBrowser EX from other than the Event Dialogue.

Moreover, please note that two configurations of ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.0/4.0.1 are changed as below:

9) Windows XP Only: ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.2 will display the "Shared Documents" folder in a different location than Windows XP. When you use ZoomBrowser EX 4.0.2, the “Shared Documents” folder will be displayed in the folder.

10)  You may feel that the speed of the zooming function is rather slow. In this case, you can change the "Zooming" configuration of ZoomBrowser EX within [Preferences] in the [Tools] menu.
