It looks like Eye-Fi, a developer of wireless products, can keep its promise to make "ease of use" in sharing of digital images a reality. The company has secured 5.5 million dollars of funding by Opus Capital and Shasta Ventures. Eye-Fi plans to release its first product, a Secure Digital memory card with integrated Wi-Fi chips (and currently in beta test), later this year.
