The optimized high-power and multicoated MINOCTAR lens of the MINOX DC 8011 offers the photographer a 28 mm wide angle (35 mm equivalent) and thus not only greater flexibility when selecting subjects for the standard picture format. In the optional 16:9 mode this short focal length is ideal for expressive wide-format photography. With its 4x optical zoom the lens provides enormous reserves already when selecting the image detail. For getting the subject in view and assessment of the image result after the shot the DC 8011 features a 2.7 inch TFT LCD color monitor.
