Geez, most photo buffs will have high resolution monitors (I run at 1600x1200x32) and your site is tiny and doesn't even use the full vertical width of even moderate sized monitors. Fonts are fixed size so the text is unreadable - even with font size set to maximum. I don't care to reset my display resolution to view your site and I suspect most others won't either.
Having a usable user interface is MUCH more important than some 'cool design'. Redesign the site to be usable and I might come back to check the content…

John,
You're right, running at monitor resolutions higher than 1280x1024 on 15 inch monitors or 1600x1200 on 17 inch monitors will render the text unreadable in most cases. Although our prime focus has been on supporting the most common monitor resolutions today (see also the other feedback on resolution) , we will certainly have to address this issue soon. The installed number of high resolution monitors is steadily growing, and even finer resolution LCD monitors, such as 1600x1200 on 15 inch screens are coming on the market already today. We do hope to have an adequate solution available by the end of the 4th quarter. .
