Sony introduces the ACX396AKS LCD module, a 3-inch LED backlit LCD that uses low-temperature polysilicon transistors. The panel features ultrahigh resolution (271 ppi) and through its Window-On antireflection process technology it can display strong blacks and increases display visibility. In traditional LCD panel structures there are large losses due to reflections in the air gap between the protective cover and the LCD module.
