The NEC CRV43 gives a new meaning to the word flatscreen

With the launch of the CRV43, NEC has given a new meaning to word flatscreen. The 43" CRV43 ultra-widescreen curved desktop monitor provides a gigantic field of view. The monitor resembles the Alienware DLP - LED illuminated monitor (shown at CES 2008), which would explain the bulky depth of the screen of more than 10 inches. The resolution is 2880x900, slightly less than you would need for full HD, and the street price is $7999, slightly more than the promised $6499. But then again, it's aimed at those for which money is no object...
