Canon announces new firmware for its EOS-1D IV and 5D II. The EOS-1D firmware version 1.1.0 offers these improvements: • Improved writing/reading speeds for the UDMA 7 CF cards. • Fixes a problem when using high-capacity (32 GB+) CF cards • Corrects some mistakes in the menu screens The 5D firmware version 2.0.9 improves the CF card performance too and corrects some menu mistakes.
