Following the Digimax PRO815, Samsung announces the Digimax V800, a compact 8 megapixel 3x zoom digital camera. Samsung also announces a series of 5 megapixel digital cameras, the Digimax A50 (4x opt. zoom), A502 (no opt. zoom), L50 (3x opt. zoom), A55W (4.8x opt. zoom), and the L55W (4.8x opt. zoom). The Digimax "W" series have a 4.8x optical zoom offering a range of 28mm-135mm.
