Last year, my NEC MT80 projector gave up on me after 8 years of faithful service. Now, another great friend, that I have been eye-to-eye with for nearly six years, is giving up on me. This time it's my NEC LCD 2010, once called the "Mother of all LCDs", with a 1280 x 1024 resolution and an initial price tag of over 8000 dollars.
