At the recent PMA, Panasonic and Leica have announced a new lens based on the Four Thirds standard. With this new 14-50mm Leica D lens, the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-L1 will become the first Digital SLR with the same familiar feel of the Analog SLRs. A distinctive L1 feature is the shutter speed dial on top the camera. And even better, with the Leica lens you not only get a focus ring and zoom ring, but unlike other Four Thirds lenses, you get optical image stabilization and an aperture ring too...More
