July 9, 2003 Pentax Japan announces the Pentax Digibino DB200, featuring 1.3 megapixels, a million more that its little brother the Digibino DB100. Additionally, the DB200 is equipped with a slot to support SD or MMC cards, whereas the DB100's images could only be stored in its 16 MB of internal memory. The binoculars physical dimensions have remained the same, while the SD slot brings a mere 20 grams on the scales. The Pentax Digibino DB200 will be available in Japan by the end of August.
