World's smallest hard drive: 4GB!

Hitachi's new storage company announces plans to squeeze 4GB onto the 1-inch Microdrive, the world's-smallest-hard disk drive. Considerable advances-in miniaturization technology have overcome challenges associated with developing hard disk drives of this size. The 4GB Microdrive is expected in the fall of 2003.
