Hitachi claims that their second generation Multimediacards of 16-, 32-, 64-, and 128 Megabytes are the first to have gained compliance certification from the industry standards body. As a consequence they may carry the MMCA compliance logo.
The MMCA developed and regulates open industry standards that define all types of MultiMediaCards, ensuring full interchangeability between the cards produced by all MMCA members.
