Apple has shown version 5 of its iOS, with over 200 new features incl. several for digital imaging. You can open the Camera app right from the Lock screen, use grid lines, pinch-to-zoom, and single-tap focus and exposure locks to compose a picture on the fly. Furthermore, you can crop, rotate, enhance, and remove red-eye without leaving the iPhoto app. The new OS will be available in the autumn, together with - rumor lane - the iPhone 5. And who knows, maybe that the low-res iPad cameras get an update to lose their sad world record...More
