The 2.5 unit is only 7mm thin and with a weight of 95gr it's ready for the new generation of tablets. Hard disk development has come a long way; my first IBM XT back in 1983 was equipped with a 5.25" full height Seagate ST506 that offered a whopping 5MB capacity.
