InVisage Technologies today announced the QuantumFilm image sensors, the world's first commercial quantum dot-based image sensors, replacing silicon. These QuantumFilm image sensors deliver 4 times higher performance and 2 times higher dynamic range. InVisage, based in Menlo Park, was founded in 2006 and has received more than $30 million in funding.
