Sony introduces the new model PlayStation3 system, featuring an extremely streamlined form factor with a 120GB Hard Disk Drive. The "Install other OS" feature, available on the earlier systems will no longer be available, as "The new PS3 system will focus on delivering games and other entertainment content...". The new PS3 will be available from September, in North-America, Europe and Asia. In the US the retail price is $299, whereas in Europe you would have to be pay quite a bit more: €299 (which is roughly $420)...More
