The wireless telephone service provider Sprint continues to develop Third-Generation (3G) Wireless Imaging with the addition of the LightSurf Instant Imaging Platform. Sprint's Third-Generation network, or 3G, will enable data services at peak speeds of 144 kilobits per second this year and up to 2 to 5 megabits per second within two years.
