The TV is rapidly becoming your central window on the world with an ever increasing number of interfaces HDMI, S/PDIF, USB, Ethernet (dnla) etc. In an effort to make the TV a simple interactive hub in your digital home network, the Digital Interactive Interface for Video & Audio (DiiVA) consortium has published the DiiVA 1.0 specifications. DiiVA offers 13.5Gbps of video and over 2Gbps audio & data bandwidth, incl. USB, Ethernet and device control.
