Varioptic and the IVA Corporation announce the first 2 Megapixel CMOS digital camera unit which uses a variable focus liquid lens. The IVIN-2M USB 2.0 camera features a CMOS imager with selectable display resolution from 320 X 240 at 30 fps up to 1600 X 1200 at 15 fps. The unit can be used in applications such as biometrics, surveillance, security systems, vision applications and general imaging systems.
