Sigma announces two new Nikon mount HSM lenses, allowing autofocus with all Nikon DSLR cameras, including the D40 and D40x. HSM stands for Hyper Sonic Motor, and these lenses offer virtually silent and very quick responsive autofocus. The new 17-70mm F2.8-4.5 DC MACRO HSM lens is a large aperture standard zoom lens with a minimum focusing distance of 20cm (7.9") and maximum magnification of 1:2.3.
