Sigma announces two new compact HSM lenses for Nikon SLR cameras. A HSM (Hyper-Sonic Motor) lens uses a motor driven by ultrasonic waves to provide a quiet, high-speed Auto Focus. The Sigma 18-50mm F3.5-5.6 DC HSM is a compact standard zoom lens that measures 69.6mm (2.7") x 60mm (2.4") and weighs 250g (8.8 oz).
