 UMax USA has introduced the Powerlook 180, a film scanner with a resolution of 1800 x 1800 dpi. The scanner comes with the Silverfast SE and Photoshop LE software and connects through a USB 1.0 interface to PC or Mac. It accepts 35mm framed pictures through the front of the system. The most noticeable feature of this scanner is its automatic loader which feeds 35mm negative film from the right side of the system.
The UMax Powerlook 180 will be available april 2002.
