Fujifilm joins the Friends of the High Life with the Portrait Project. Supporters in front of a backdrop of the High Line are photographed by Joel Sternfeld, and each participant will receive a copy of his or her portrait, courtesy of Fujifilm. The High Line is a 1.45-mile-long elevated rail structure on Manhattan's West Side. Built in the 1930's, the High Line was originally a rail trestle for freight trains in and out of Manhattan.
