Konica Minolta announces the 5 Megapixel DiMAGE E500 digital camera. Where and how this camera fits in the Konica Minolta product line is unclear, as the E500 resembles in many aspects the DiMAGE E50 which was announced in Europe in January of this year. The new E500 has marginally larger dimensions although it features an LCD of only 2.0 inches, whereas the E50 features a full 2.5" inch LCD. It looks like the E500 is going to be a US only product, or the E50 is going to be discontinued...More
