An article on the German news website Heise online mentions
that the User manual for the, much rumored, but yet un-announced, Nikon D50 SLR has appeared for a few minutes on the Nikon Japan website. According to the article, this new Nikon D50 will have a silver colored body, and is somewhat smaller than Nikon D70.
