 The HP Photosmart 612 is the latest addition to just announced HP digital camera series.
It is equipped with a 2.3 Megapixel CCD, a 2x optical zoom lens and 2x digital zoom.
Images can be previewed on a 1.75" color LCD with 3x and 6x magnification The camera has 8MB internal flash memory and uses CompactFlash™ Type 1 for external storage. However, a CompactFlash card is not included (at least not in the current offer in the USA) and must be purchase separately. The camera is priced at $ 299.
