Nikon's UK website today publishes a news release on the announcement of the new Nikon Coolpix 500 mk2 digital camera Closer inspection of this news item reveals that the picture shown is one of the Nikon F55. As we have never seen a Nikon Coolpix 500 before, it's not very likely that we'll now see a Mark II version of it. So this June 16th announcement is either just a maintenance slip of the webmaster or maybe, something else is cooking...More
