 Olympus USA announces the Camedia E-20N, fitted with a 5 megapixel CCD and 4x optical zoom in an SLR-style design. A new feature is the focusing area in the optical viewfinder, to facilitate manual focusing. Shutter speed ranges from 1/640 second to 1/18000 second, depending on the selected resolution. For storage, SmartMedia, CompactFlash I /II cards and IBM Microdrives can be used. The E-20N was announced in Europe last week as E-20P.
