Fujifilm announces today their 2 megapixel FinePix 2800Z digital camera.
The 2800Z has an SLR-like look and uses a 6x optical zoom. Data is stored on SmartMedia cards. With the camera you can record movies (60 s with audio) and you can attach voice annotations to your images.
The most noticeable fact about this camera is its compactness, it's significantly smaller than Fujifilm's own SLR-like cameras, the 4900Z and 6900Z. The camera ships in Oktober and costs $ 450 or € 500.
