Canon releases firmware upate Ver. 1.0.2.0 for the Ixus V3, the Poweshot S230, S45 & G3. This firmware provides the following modifications:
- Corrects the incompatibility that caused occasional errors in transmitting data from computer to camera.
- Corrects the phenomenon of under-exposure when shooting with Slow Synchro mode enabled. (for PowerShot S230 & Ixus V3)
- Corrects the occasional AF errors when using Active Frame Control / FlexiZone AF (PowerShot S45)
- Corrects the operational instability with Canon Speedlite 380EX Flash (PowerShot G3)
When updating your camera's firmware, please carefully read the precautions that are included with the camera firmware update instructions before starting the camera firmware update process. If an error occurs during the firmware update process, the camera may stop working.
Customers bear full responsibility when updating their camera's firmware.
