February 26, 2003 Pentax will introduce their first digital SLR at the PMA. The camera comes with the same super compact body as we've seen with the 35mm Pentax *ist, unveiled last month, but this time it's equipped with 6.1 Mp CCD and is called Pentax *ist D. With dimensions of 129 x 95 x 60 mm and a net weight of only 510g it will hold the title of "The world's smallest digital SLR" for a while. The Pentax *ist D is planned to be available mid 2003. |
