In these days prior to the Photokina, the World Wide Web turns out to be an excellent source for the upcoming news. This time, the French website Chasseur d'Images has spotted the new Canon Powershot G3 in an ad from the German website www.foto-lambertin.de. Specifications of this new camera are still scarce, but the main characteristics seem to be: 4x optical zoom (35-140 mm), new lens fittings, improved auto focus and flash light features.
