Fujifilm releases new firmware updates for the FinePix models F500EXR and F550EXR.
Firmware version 1.1 for the F500 fixes an issue whereby the LCD display is much more smoothly transferred into "USB" mode, after connecting the camera to the PC via USB cable (just for some shooting condition only).
The update for the F550 fixes this issue and in addition the power consumption has been improved, just for rarely observed cases
