Nikon announces two new Coolpix P-series models, the P300 and the P500.The P300 comes with a high refractive lens, to achieve a smaller and lighter camera. The lens enables sharper rendering for higher contrast throughout the entire frame. The camera will be available in March for $329.95. The P500 features a 36x optical zoom lens that covers a broad range of focal lengths from wide-angle 22.5mm through super-telephoto 810mm (equiv. with 35mm format).
