Nikon announces five new Coolpix S-series models. The S9100 is equipped with a slim 18× zoom lens and a backside illumination CMOS sensor that effectively suppresses noise in photos taken at high sensitivities. The camera also offers support for recording of full-HD movies. The S6100 is equipped with a touch panel LCD and 16-million pixels.
