Canon releases firmware update version 1.2.3 for the EOS 7D digital SLR camera, offering the following improvements:
• Fixes a pproblem where the settings of the ST-E Speedlite transmitter revert to the default when camera and ST-E2 are both set to auto power off
• Fixes a phenomenon in which the Macro Ring Lite (MR-14EX, MT-24EX) and the slave flash do not sync while shooting wirelessly.
Note that after installation of version 1.2.3 you cannot downgrade to a previous firmware version...More
