Nikon releases the Coolpix P100 and L110 zoom models for macro to super-telephoto shooting. The P100 is a high-performance model that offers a pixel count of 10.3-million pixels and a 26x optical zoom lens. A CMOS sensor with backside illumination structure has been adopted for the image sensor for less noise in images captured at night or indoors under dim lighting when high sensitivities are used.
