With the introduction of the Canon PowerShot SX1 IS in the US, Canon offered the option to shoot your images in RAW format too.
As promised then, Canon today releases the firmware update for the owners of the SX1 IS without the RAW option.
Firmware update version 2 (or officially 2.0.0.0 which sounds even more impressive with the three zeros) incorporates this RAW image recording function...More
